OCPP Mozambique. Boosting marine conservation capacity in Mozambique: LMMA exchange and knowledge sharing and MPA capacity building 2025

Abstract

The work in this project focused on supporting capacity building and knowledge sharing to Local Managed Marine Area (LMMA) staff from across Mozambique. This report provides a summary of a workshop, which was focused on monitoring recreational fisheries, establishing key partnerships and providing training on boat and vehicle maintenance, search and rescue operations and sustainable income generating projects.
