OCPP Mozambique. GIS/Remote sensing training: Identifying priority areas for protection, conservation and restoration of mangroves in Mozambique 2025

Abstract

This report covers the core content from a GIS/Remote Sensing Training Workshop delivered by the Ocean Country Partnership Programme (OCPP) in Mozambique.

The workshop included capacity building focused on using Open Access Mangrove & Protected Area Data as well as using QGIS to Map Mangroves from Satellite Imagery; with key aim of Identifying priority areas for protection, conservation and restoration of mangroves in Mozambique.

This resource is available in English and Portuguese. It was produced by JNCC, under the Ocean Country Partnership Programme.
