Wales LIFE Nature & Biodiversity
On behalf of the Welsh Government, JNCC are helping to guide the
development of Nature and Biodiversity LIFE projects in Wales from
inception through to submission, providing assistance and advice
throughout the process.
We have set up a dedicated email inbox
helpline on 01733 562626 - please ask for a member of the Wales
We will review Welsh concept notes at any time of the year,
although we recommend a six month development stage pre submission.
Filling in a concept note is the first stage in writing a LIFE
application. It is typically a three page summary which helps frame
the context of the project and it should be as quantifiable and
specific as possible. The concept note helps you frame your
thinking and assists the Wales LIFE team to evaluate the
eligibility of your proposal for LIFE funding, or point you towards
a more suitable funding programme. Please fill in and return the
form to WalesLIFE@jncc.gov.uk.
Please see the UK LIFE 'news &
events' tab for non- Welsh specific events
November 2015 JNCC
