EUNIS habitats: maps from surveys

View on EMODnet Seabed Habitats webGIS

A data product containing seabed habitat maps classified to the EUNIS habitat classification system.

The data product is split into three rough scale classes (broad, medium, fine) and contains data from the UK and other European countries. Datasets from the UK can be identified by the "GUI" code beginning with "GB".

This product replaces the original MESH product and differs in that it retains overlaps between datasets.

Type: composite of multiple datasets
Coverage: Europe (including UK), where habitat data exists
Scale: various
Shape type: polygons
