The business plan sets out in detail JNCC’s priorities for 2011/12 and how resources will be allocated to achieve them.
Summary
This work contributes to maintain and
enriching biological diversity, conserving geological features and
sustaining natural systems. These provide the core services upon
which humans depend, including fresh water, clean air and food. In
this way they contribute to economic growth and social well-being
and are integral to sustainable development. Through this work,
JNCC contributes the achievement of the goals of UK Government, the
Scottish Government, the Welsh Assembly Government and the
Department of the Environment in Northern Ireland.
