The business plan sets out in detail JNCC’s priorities for 2012/13 and forward look for 2013-15 and how resources will be allocated to achieve them.
Summary
This plan sets out JNCC’s priorities for 2012/13 and how we will
allocate resources and promote a culture of collaborative working
to achieve them. It is based upon agreed levels of funding provided
by the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra),
the Scottish Government, the Welsh Government and the Northern
Ireland Executive, and anticipated income from other sources.
Priorities for 2012/13 are set within the
context of objectives for the period 2012-15, and indicative
financial allocations are provided for 2013/14 and 2014/15. Over
the next three years there is likely to be considerable change
across the UK to policies relating to nature conservation and the
associated institutional landscape. We will be flexible and
responsive to such changes so that we continue to meet the needs of
the four administrations.
