UK Overseas Territories & Crown Dependencies

JNCC Research Contributions
(2008 - 2015)

 

Between 2009 and 2015, JNCC was periodically able to offer small financial contributions to biodiversity research in the UK Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies. Invitations were issued up to twice a year (in March and September) to members of the UK Overseas Territories & Crown Dependencies Steering Group (OTCDSG), inviting them to submit requests for contributions to biodiversity research projects. Details of the call for research proposals were also circulated via the UK OT and CD newsletter.

In order to qualify for the contribution, the research project needed to be about the conservation of biodiversity in the UK Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies, and the amount requested needed to be for no more than 70% of the total project costs.

A summary of the research projects funded between 2008 and 2015 is provided below.
