in October 2002, and further volumes of the 42-volume series are

protection by the Convention on Migratory Species.

- News on the eighth Conference of the Contracting Parties to the
Ramsar Convention.
Into the big blue
- The summer was a busy time for marine Natura 2000 work with
novel analysis being completed and the first marine Natura 2000
sites being proposed.

Shark basks in CITES success
- Over 1,500 delegates from 141 countries and observers from
Non-Governmental Organisations met in Santiago for the 12th meeting
of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on International
Trade in Endangered Species.
