The post-holder will work as part of Prof. Bill Sutherland’s Conservation Evidence Team ( within the Conservation Science Group in the Department of Zoology at the University of Cambridge.
Our staff lead scientific expert groups nationally and internationally, developing new tools, indicators and approaches for monitoring and assessing biodiversity at a variety of scales.
JNCC is moving towards a cloud based approach for its own systems and providing cloud based services to partner projects. We use both AWS and Azure cloud estates, including such technology as EC2, Docker, S3, and Vagrant.
