Job vacancies available at JNCC

Welcome from the Chief Executive

Current Vacancies:

The role will involve having a good, broad understanding of JNCC’s work and the ability to integrate technical delivery with a broader business understanding.
JNCC is moving towards a cloud based approach for its own systems and providing cloud based services to partner projects. To help deliver this change we have created a new role for an engineer to help with deployment of servers and software.
These two posts will involve engagement with a wide range of information management activities, with a focus on mapping workflows and analysing business processes to better understand how JNCC works with data.
The post will help develop a range of products that detect change in the condition or management of habitats and to provide biophysical parameters for species modelling. The post will work primarily on terrestrial and freshwater environments.
We are seeking a Project Officer to support high profile ongoing species and impacts advice work within JNCC. The post-holder will be expected to support members of the Team in providing leadership on project management approaches.
