Consultation on the draft 3rd UK Report on Implementation of
the Habitats Directive
The consultation on the DRAFT
UK report has now finished.
The next stages are:
JNCC will review comments made and decide (with input from the
Country Conservation bodies if necessary) if any adjustments to the
assessments are appropriate.
- The report will then be signed-off by Governments and submitted
to the European Commission.
- Following a quality check stage by the European Environment
Agency, JNCC will resolve any queries which arise and agree a
re-submission with Governments.
- Once the report has been re-submitted JNCC will publish the
final version of the assessments on its web-pages. We
anticipate that will be in autumn 2013.
